Hummingbird was founded in 2019 by Anya Mehta, a clinical pharmacist with 15 years on London's NHS frontline. Today our small team looks after more than 6,000 local patients.
Our story
The pharmacy we always wanted.
Anya grew up the daughter of a corner-shop pharmacist in Leicester. She opened Hummingbird to bring that same neighbourhood care to east London - backed by modern NHS services and an app patients actually want to use.
Today we're a team of eight, including three pharmacists and two pharmacy technicians. We're proud to be a Healthy Living Pharmacy and an NHS Pharmacy First provider.
